The body of the lamp is sculpted from a single piece of lucite. The borders are sanded, and the two facades shined, before being colored by hand. Once finished the two facades are once again shined and brought back to the original transparency. All of the metal fittings are brass with a ruthenium finish. The lamp is available with an oval black silk mélange lampshade lined in silver.
